The General Directorate for Narcotics Affairs seized 2.5 kilograms of heroin in Anbar Governorate.
The Directorate stated in a statement: “An anti-drug force in Anbar, in coordination and participation with the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and the forces holding the land, carried out a qualitative, proactive security operation that resulted in seizing 2,500 kilograms of heroin in Anbar, and legal measures were taken according to judicial decisions to complete the dismantling process of the drug network in Anbar.
