The Federal Police forces arrested two suspects, one of whom is wanted in terrorist cases, and the other for possessing narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia in Baghdad.
A statement of the Federal Police Command stated that, according to intelligence information and a qualitative operation, a force from the Second Brigade, the First Division, Federal Police, with a detachment from the brigade’s intelligence, managed to arrest a wanted suspect in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 (terrorism) in (Kamaliyya) area in Baghdad, while a force from the 3rd Mechanized Brigade, the Mechanized Division, backed by the intelligence effort, arrested a suspect and seized in his possession a quantity of crystal (drug) and tools for use, in Abu Dashir area, southwest of Baghdad.
