4.1-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Southern Iran

The Iranian Seismological Center recorded an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale in the southern province of Khuzestan.

According to a statement issued by the center, the tremor occurred at a depth of 14 km, at the confluence of latitude 32.72 degrees north and longitude 48.99 degrees east.

So far, there are no reports of human or material losses due to the tremor.
