Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and other officials were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday, according to Iranian Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
The helicopter went down in a mountainous area amid heavy fog.
According to IRNA, the Iranian Council of Ministers will hold a meeting to discuss the situation in the aftermath of the accident.
