Efficiency, Precision, and Speed: Key Features of ‘Makkah Route Initiative’ in Ankara

General

Ankara, A team of qualified Saudi personnel from the General Directorate of Passports welcomes pilgrims at the Makkah Route Initiative terminal in Ankara Esenboga International Airport, offering greetings and congratulations in Turkish.

The team ensures that pilgrims have obtained their Hajj visas and then directs them to counters to complete their entry procedures into the Kingdom. This also includes handling mobile luggage and using a mobile office.

Afterward, the passport verification process takes place at the exit gate, followed by transitioning to the waiting lounge adorned with designs and drawings of the Holy Kaaba and Grand Mosque, creating a spiritual atmosphere for the pilgrims.

The meticulous organization continues with ensuring the presence of all pilgrims and verifying their passports before boarding the aircraft.

They then proceed either to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah or Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, and then move to their accommodations
through designated paths.

The efficiency and precision of the process are attributed to qualified and trained personnel, modern equipment, the use of cutting-edge technologies, and leveraging artificial-intelligence programs.
