Presidency for Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Unveils Operational Plan for Hajj Season 1445H

Makkah, The President of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, today unveiled the operational plan for the Hajj season of 1445H. The plan, the largest ever, includes various central enrichment axes to serve the pilgrims and utilizes technology to facilitate their journey. The focus is on enriching the religious experience, preparing the worship atmosphere, and launching 120 diverse religious enrichment initiatives during the Hajj season.

Dr. Al-Sudais elaborated that the plan results from the presidency team’s diligent work in preparation, planning, and studies as well as achievements from previous seasons. The plan is in harmony and integration with various parties working at the Two Holy Mosques to serve the pilgrims. He also praised the support and attention given by the wise leadership in serving the pilgrims, promoting the values of tolerance and moderation, and emphasizing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s global religious leadership

This year’s operational plan for the Hajj season includes over 120 main and accompanying initiatives and events, and hundreds of religious programs that include scientific guidance lessons. The presidency is keen to dedicate voluntary and humanitarian work, emphasizing the meanings of generosity, hospitality, and welcome.

The plan also includes the digital axis, aiming to deepen and improve the digital religious experience of the Two Holy Mosques through the integration of digital religious services system, investment in technology and artificial intelligence, smart applications, digital media, and the activation of qualitative religious initiatives, towards digital leadership and reducing the barrier of place and time through applications.
