Security forces in Maysan arrested 9 suspects wanted for various crimes during security operations carried out in Ali al-Gharbi district, north of the governorate.
A statement by the Maysan Police Command, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / stated: “A force from the detachments of the Ali al-Gharbi district police department, north of the city of Amara, was able to arrest (9) suspects, against whom judicial arrest warrants were issued in accordance with Article 342 and other legal articles of the Penal Code.”
The statement added: “The necessary legal measures were taken against the accused and they were referred to the judiciary.
