Hajj Fosters International Connections, Shared Experience Unites Pilgrims

Makkah: Makkah hotels housing guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program have become vibrant spaces for international exchange during Hajj. With the arrival of over 3,322 pilgrims from 88 countries, representing diverse cultures and ethnicities, a sense of community and connection flourishes. Men and women pilgrims have the opportunity to interact in designated areas like prayer halls, lobbies, and common spaces. These interactions lead to forming bonds based on shared faith and the unique experience of Hajj. Hajj Abdul Rafiq Hashem, a program pilgrim, highlighted the value of such interactions, saying that the diverse activities and meticulous organization of the program facilitates cultural exchange and intellectual connection among people from various backgrounds. This fosters a spirit of brotherhood and understanding among pilgrims from all over the globe. Hajj transcends geographical and cultural boundaries, he said, and unites pilgrims in a shared spiritual journey. Source: Saudi Pres s Agency
