Makkah: Acting Director General of Civil Defence Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj affirmed that the directorate utilised its capabilities to ensure the security and welfare of the pilgrims during the annual meeting with the civil defence employees participating in this Hajj season 1445 AH.
During the meeting, Major General Dr. Al-Faraj expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom’s wise leadership and the care, attention, and support that the Civil Defence Directorate and the sectors have received. He also conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, to the employees for their exceptional work and efforts.
The acting director general asserted the significance of the assumptions made by the Civil Defence Forces to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims and address any emergency situations.
