White House: Biden does not suffer from Parkinson’s and undergoes an annual examination

Baghdad, The White House announced that US President Joe Biden is subject to an annual examination by a neurologist as part of a medical examination, confirming at the same time that Biden is not receiving treatment for Parkinson’s disease.

This comes after reports emerged indicating that a doctor specializing in this disease visited the White House eight times last year.’

In a press conference, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to confirm the visit of the neurologist who specializes in movement disorders, saying that she ‘wants to respect the privacy of all participants for security reasons.’

She noted that Biden underwent a neurologist’s examination three times as part of his annual physical examinations, but she confirmed that the president is not being treated for Parkinson’s disease.

The New York Times reported that White House visitor logs show that Dr. Kevin Canard, a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders and who recently published research on Parkinson’s disease, v
isited the White House eight times from last summer until the spring of this year.

Fears have increased that Biden may be suffering from an undisclosed illness since he stumbled in his debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump on June 27.

Following the debate, prominent figures from the Democratic Party camp began publicly demanding Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.’
