The Baghdad Operations Command freed a kidnapped foreigner and arrested the kidnappers, including a ‘woman’ who is fluent in the foreign language, near Al-Masabeeh Bridge within the Taji Highway in Al-Karkh.

The command stated in a statement: ‘After receiving accurate intelligence information indicating the existence of a kidnapping incident of a foreign worker (who works as a maintenance engineer of vehicles) within the sector of responsibility on al-Karkh side of Baghdad, a joint work The team was immediately formed from the leadership of the Second Division of the Federal Police in coordination with the Intelligence Department, and moved to the specified location, and after investigating, searching, collecting preliminary information, following up on surveillance cameras, and expanding the search circle , the location of the perpetrators was revealed, and with a precise ambush set up for them, all members of the ‘kidnapping gang,’ consisting of four people of ‘foreign nationality,’ including a ‘woman’ flu
ent in the foreign language, were arrested. The kidnapped person was released after requesting a ransom of ($4,000) from his family, near Al-Masabeeh Bridge within Al-Taji Highway, in Al-Karkh, and they were handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
