Jeddah, The Saudi Under-20 volleyball team will play against Japan on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the 22nd annual Asian Men’s U20 Volleyball Championship.
The team aims to continue winning in the tournament after qualifying as the second in its group during the preliminary round, following victories over Australia and Hong Kong with identical 3-0 scores.
The Saudi team is seeking a win to enhance their chances of reaching the semi-finals. The coach has focused on increasing fitness and tactical training while correcting mistakes.
The last training session showed the players’ spirit and determination to deliver the expected performance during their tomorrow’s match against Japan, one of the main contenders for the title.
