Baghdad, A force from the 15th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces thwarted a terrorist attempt to target civilians and military units in Kirkuk Governorate.
This came during a security operation carried out by the force, where it found a missile belonging to the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” in Al-Sour district within the sector of responsibility in Kirkuk Governorate, which was intended to target civilians and military units.
The brigade’s field engineering was able to process the missile and detonate it in the field in a controlled manner.”
