Saudi-Kazakh Business Forum Witnesses Signing of Trade Agreements in Economic Sectors

The Saudi-Kazakh Business Forum, organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers in Almaty, Kazakhstan, has witnessed the signing of trade agreements between Saudi and Kazakh companies covering several priority economic sectors.

Kazakh companies have expressed their interest in entering the Saudi market and identifying the investment opportunities provided by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The forum emphasized the investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and areas of partnership and cooperation between the two countries in sectors such as mining, renewable energy, agriculture, real estate, and tourism.

Chairman of the Saudi-Kazakh Business Council Ahmed Al-Dakhil stated, “The council has made significant progress in the development of trade and investment relations, despite its recent establishment in mid-2023.” He also cited the favorable outcomes and results of the Saudi business delegation’s visit to Kazakhstan.

It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and Kazakhstan achieved a gro
wth of 71% in 2023, reflected in the growth of Saudi exports by 32% and imports from Kazakhstan by 74%.
