Falcon Fetches Record-Breaking SAR400,000 at International Breeders Auction

The 2024 International Falcon Breeders Auction was held for the ninth night and saw the sale of the most expensive falcon of the year for SAR400,000. The auction was held at the headquarters of the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, north of Riyadh.

At the event, Pacific Northwest Falcons, an American falconry, presented two falcons for auction, which sold for a total of SAR486,000. The first falcon, a peregrine chick “Super White,” was initially priced at SAR40,000 but was sold for SAR86,000. The second falcon, a peregrine chick “Ultra White,” was initially priced at SAR100,000 and was sold for SAR400,000.

The auction is a renowned platform for elite falcons from around the world, featuring championship-winning breeds. It brings together falconers, producers, and falcon enthusiasts from Saudi Arabia and various countries. The auction events are broadcast on television and live streamed on social-media platforms.
