Riyadh: SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing national talent by sponsoring the Best Graduation Project Award at King Saud University (KSU) for the 26th consecutive year. According to Saudi Press Agency, the sponsored award recognized the outstanding achievements of graduating students from KSU's College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Engineering, and the Department of Electrical Engineering. Honors were granted across three categories: the Scientific Advancement Award for best graduation project, the Excellence Award for best academic performance, and the Creativity Award for the most innovative idea. The awards aim to highlight and encourage breakthrough thinking, academic rigor, and the development of solutions that address real-world challenges.
SAMI-AEC chief executive Eng. Ziad Al-Musallam expressed pride in supporting future generations of Saudi innovators. He emphasized that as Saudi Arabia accelerates toward a knowledge-based, technology-driven economy, investments in youth education and innovation are not only necessary but strategic.
