Riyadh: Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University has introduced Saudi Arabia's first guide to accessible artificial intelligence tools and applications for students with disabilities, underscoring its commitment to educational equity and adherence to national regulations on digital empowerment and disability rights in education.
According to Saudi Press Agency, University President Fahad Al-Harbi highlighted that this initiative is based on the Law of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This law sets a framework ensuring basic rights, mirroring the Kingdom's commitment to international standards and national policies supporting digital inclusion.
The guide includes a range of smart applications tailored to specific disabilities. These applications aim to expand opportunities for self-directed learning, facilitate digital interaction, provide academic support, and empower students with greater autonomy in their educational journey.
