Makkah: Under the patronage of Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Hajj Supreme Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the general administration of medical services at the Ministry of Interior is holding the second edition of the Health and Safety in Hajj Forum from May 18 to 29 in Makkah. The forum began its activities with three workshops that focused on technological innovation in crisis management during Hajj and advancements in health innovation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a two-day health and security hackathon will start today, followed by an exhibition, dialogue sessions, and scientific lectures featuring a group of experts in relevant fields. The forum aims to strengthen coordination between health and security sectors during the Hajj season by fostering the exchange of expertise, proposing smart solutions for crisis management, and enhancing the competencies of professionals working in these vital domains.
