Ministry of Islamic Affairs Hosts Awareness Lectures at Al-Khaif Mosque

Mina: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance organized two awareness lectures today at Al-Khaif Mosque in Mina, following the Maghrib and Isha prayers. This initiative is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to educate pilgrims on the rulings of Hajj rituals and their associated etiquette, with a substantial crowd filling the mosque to gain Islamic knowledge vital for correctly performing the rituals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first lecture, titled 'Know that there is no god but Allah,' was delivered by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Fahd Al-Furaih, a Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence at the Higher Institute of Justice. Dr. Al-Furaih elaborated on the significance of the verse, emphasizing monotheism's central role in Islam, asserting that the fulfillment of this belief in both word and conviction is essential for the validity of one's Islam. He highlighted that adhering to this principle brings peace of mind and strengthens faith, especially during these virtuous days when deeds are elevated, and supplications are accepted.

The second lecture, titled "Good Deeds," was presented by Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Yahya Al-Haddadi, a faculty member at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. Dr. Al-Haddadi focused on the importance of good deeds in Islam, discussing their role in purifying the soul and promoting upright behavior. He referenced Quranic verses and Prophetic hadiths to illustrate the urgency of performing good deeds with sincere intentions for Allah, following the Prophet's example. He stressed the significance of utilizing these blessed days to draw nearer to Allah and increase good deeds, which amplify rewards and elevate one's actions.

These lectures are part of the Ministry's da'wah program, aimed at spreading religious awareness and educating pilgrims about the rituals' rulings and etiquette, adhering to a moderate approach based on the Quran and Sunnah.
