Abha: The General Directorate of Border Guard, represented by Aseer Region Command, inaugurated a marine safety awareness exhibition at Al-Rashid Mall in Abha. The initiative aims to promote safe marine practices and deter access to unauthorized swimming areas to help prevent drowning incidents.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event targets all segments of society, providing education on the regulations for beachgoers established by the Border Guard. It also highlights the penalties for swimming in restricted or hazardous areas and shares guidelines for safe sea activities. The exhibition underscores the importance of monitoring weather conditions and exercising caution during sudden changes before heading to sea.

Open to the public for five days, the exhibition welcomes visitors from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the mornings and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the evenings. Attendees can explore various sections and have their questions addressed by experts present at the event.
