New york: The Muslim World League (MWL) expressed admiration for the successful conclusion of the High-Level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. The event, held at the United Nations headquarters in New York, was sponsored and co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the French Republic.
According to Saudi Press Agency, MWL Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa extended congratulations to Saudi Arabia, the Islamic and Arab worlds, and countries that support justice and peace for the success of the conference. He highlighted the significance of this event as a crucial step in implementing international resolutions on the Palestinian cause, particularly with declarations from several countries expressing intent to recognize the State of Palestine.
Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the appreciation of the MWL, as well as Arab and Islamic communities, for Saudi Arabia's consistent dedication to the Palestinian issue. He acknowledged the efforts led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which include the establishment of the Global Coalition to Implement the Two-State Solution and leadership of the Joint Arab Islamic Ministerial Committee. These initiatives were instrumental in Saudi Arabia's sponsorship and leadership of this landmark conference, which featured extensive global participation.
