Jeddah: Saudi Arabia's national basketball team secured a 77-73 victory over Jordan today in its second match of the 31st FIBA Asia Cup, held at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team ended the first quarter ahead by 4 points (21-17) and extended its lead to 15 points by halftime (48-31). In the third quarter, the Saudis maintained their dominance with a 67-53 lead. Jordan mounted a comeback in the fourth quarter, reducing the gap to just 4 points, but the Saudi team held on to claim the win.
