Riyadh: The working team of the Saudi Football History Documentation Project will hold a press conference Sunday evening at the headquarters of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) in Riyadh to unveil the project's final report, which documents the period from 1902 to 2025. According to Saudi Press Agency, the press conference will provide a comprehensive explanation of the extensive methodological process and the collective work of the project team, which was formed by the project's General Assembly. The project relies on collecting, verifying, and analyzing data from various local, continental, and international sources, thereby establishing a comprehensive scientific record of Saudi football's journey that preserves its history and football heritage for future generations. The conference will also highlight the main themes of the final report, including the adopted methodology and standards approved by the General Assembly, in addition to showcasing the documented achievements of clubs and natio nal teams attained under the continuous support Saudi football has received from the wise leadership. SAFF President Yasser Almisehal received the approved version of the project from the project team members in the presence of the board members, after completing all necessary regulatory requirements. The electronic version will be published Sunday on SAFF's official website. The Saudi Football History Documentation Project is one of the pioneering initiatives overseen by SAFF in cooperation with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) through the FIFA Museum, along with several national entities, foremost among them the Ministry of Sport, the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), the Saudi Pro League, and the clubs that are members of the General Assembly.
