Northern Borders Region Prepares Extensive Saudi National Day Celebration

Riyadh: The Principality of the Northern Borders Region has finalized preparations for the 95th Saudi National Day. The celebration will include over 50 cultural and entertainment events across the region, highlighting national pride.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the celebration will showcase 5,680 national flags, 111 decorative figures, 1,111 searchlights, and 21,500 meters of ornamental ropes. Additionally, 3,500 square meters of national artwork will be displayed. The festivities will also feature the release of more than 500 helium balloons and the display of national content on 120 electronic screens. More than 20 participating organizations will set up 100 booths.

A public concert is scheduled at the cultural center in the city of Arar on September 23. The event will include a national operetta, folklore performances, poetry recitals, and children's theater. Visual displays are also planned for Clock Square.

Preparations extend to the surrounding municipalities, with events and decorations reflecting the community's enthusiasm for this significant national occasion.
