Future of Vet Biotechnology Conference to Kick off Tomorrow with Participation from 25 Countries

Riyadh: The Future of Vet Biotechnology Conference (VET TECH), organized by the National Livestock and Fisheries Development Program, is scheduled to kick off tomorrow in Riyadh with the participation of leading experts and specialists from 25 countries, in addition to several global and local companies operating in biotechnology and animal resources. The conference will be held from December 2 to 3, at the JW Marriott Hotel Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference is part of the program's efforts to modernize the livestock and fisheries sector, enhance its operational and technological efficiency, and boost its preparedness for health challenges. These efforts contribute to ensuring the sector's sustainability and increasing the reliability of food supply chains, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to support food and health security and develop promising sectors.

The conference will address specialized topics, including the development of animal health systems through veterinary vaccines, diagnostics for disease-causing pathogens, and research and innovation tools to reduce epidemic risks.
