New Saudi Humanitarian Aid Shipment from KSrelief Crosses Rafah into Gaza

Rafah: A new shipment of Saudi humanitarian aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully crossed the Rafah border crossing. The shipment, consisting of a significant quantity of tents, is en route to the Karem Abu Salem crossing, preparing for its entry into the Gaza Strip in coordination with the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC). This initiative is part of the Saudi popular campaign supporting the Palestinian people in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, KSrelief has already established both an air bridge and a maritime bridge, which have facilitated the delivery of 74 aircraft and 8 ships carrying over 7,677 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. Additionally, 20 ambulances have been provided to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS). These efforts highlight the Kingdom's commitment to aiding the Palestinian people during these challenging times.

Furthermore, KSrelief has signed agreements with international organizations to execute relief projects within the enclave, with a total value of $90.35 million. Joint airdrops with Jordan have also been carried out to navigate the closure of crossings and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of aid. These comprehensive measures are aimed at alleviating the severe humanitarian conditions faced by Palestinians in Gaza, particularly the vulnerable groups such as children and women, amid cold weather and deteriorating living conditions.
