Riyadh: Thunderstorms are expected to lead to flash floods, accompanied by hail and gusty winds, in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and Madinah regions. Rainfall is also anticipated in parts of Hail, Northern Borders, and the northern parts of the Makkah region, while light rain is predicted for the highlands of Al-Baha and Aseer regions, as well as parts of the Qassim Region. Additionally, fog may form in parts of these areas, as well as in parts of the Eastern Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are forecasted to be northwesterly to southwesterly in the northern and central parts at speeds ranging from 20-60 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part at speeds of 20-42 km/h. Wave heights will vary from one and a half meters to over two meters, with the sea conditions ranging from relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds are expected to be southwesterly to southeasterly in the northern and central parts, and easterly to northeasterly in the southern part, with speeds of 10-30 km/h. The waves will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea will remain relatively calm.
