The visit aimed to discuss the state of the library sector and explore opportunities for mutual cooperation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the commission showcased its initiatives in developing the library sector and advancing digital transformation, highlighting key achievements. These efforts aim to foster expertise exchange and build strategic partnerships for sustainable cultural development.
The IFLA secretary general praised the commission's strategy and progress in the library sector. She expressed interest in future collaboration and invited the commission to participate in upcoming international exhibitions and conferences to highlight Saudi Arabia's library experiences and strengthen its global presence.
