Al-baha: A total of 17,200 volunteers, both male and female, contributed to a range of environmental, social, and public service initiatives launched by Al-Baha Municipality in 2025. The volunteers' participation reflects the municipality's efforts to expand community engagement and promote a culture of volunteerism in Al-Baha.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Mayor of Al-Baha Region Dr. Ali Al-Sawat stated that the volunteers completed 76,700 hours across 1,000 opportunities at 48 sites. Activities included removing visual pollution, urban improvement works, monitoring and surveillance, housing support, burial services, emergency and crisis response, and services for pilgrims and Umrah performers.

The volunteers' efforts generated an estimated economic impact of around SAR12 million, Al-Sawat added, highlighting the establishment of 98 partnerships and agreements as part of the municipality's initiatives.
