Baghdad: The Arab Tourism Capital for 2025, Baghdad, recently hosted the 36th session of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism and the 28th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism. These significant meetings saw participation from the heads of delegations representing member states, the Arab Tourism Organization, and other pertinent bodies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the event, Arab Tourism Organization President Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid received recognition from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani. This honor was bestowed in acknowledgment of Dr. Al-Fuhaid's role in promoting collaborative Arab efforts in the tourism industry.
The council's proceedings culminated in several crucial decisions, with the most notable being the designation of Al Ain as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2026, followed by Tunis for 2027.
