24 Development Projects Open for Public Feedback on Istitlaa Platform

Riyadh: The National Competitiveness Center's (NCC) Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has unveiled 24 projects focusing on economic and development affairs. Collaborating with 17 government bodies, the NCC is inviting feedback from the general public, governmental entities, and the private sector before these projects receive approval.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Cybersecurity Authority has initiated a public consultation on a project titled 'Updates on the Saudi Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.' This project is designed to be a reference model and guideline for the preparation, development, recruitment, promotion, and management of the cybersecurity workforce. Public feedback on this initiative is being accepted until December 16, 2025.

The Research, Development, and Innovation Authority has introduced a significant project on the platform named 'Guideline for International Scientific Cooperation for Researchers.' This project aims to create a unified guiding framework for international scientific and research collaboration, ensuring adherence to best practices and international standards. The public is invited to provide feedback until December 17, 2025.

Further, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has presented a project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Technical Regulations for Determining the Additional Period for Developing Lands Subject to the White Land and Vacant Property Fees System.' This initiative seeks to improve the efficiency of fees on undeveloped lands to stimulate the real estate market, increase the supply of developed lands and housing units, and balance supply and demand. Feedback will be accepted until December 18, 2025.

Additionally, the Ministry of Commerce has launched a consultation on a project titled 'Ministerial Resolution on Instant Fines for Failure to Comply with Beneficial Ownership Disclosure or the Annual Confirmation of Registered Information.' The project aims to enhance compliance with beneficial ownership rules, improve supervision and violation detection tools, and ensure fairness in imposing fines. Public feedback is open until December 19, 2025.

The Jouf Strategic Development Office has also put forward a key project titled 'Urban Components Policy for Special Zones in Al-Jouf Region.' This project intends to establish a unified regulatory framework for external design standards of urban components in Al-Jouf's special zones, ensuring alignment with the Northern Najdi identity. Feedback will be accepted until December 25, 2025.

The introduction of these draft regulations and bylaws through the Istitlaa platform underscores a commitment to increased transparency within the legislative environment. Moreover, Istitlaa promotes a culture of public participation by allowing citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to offer insights and feedback on proposed regulations impacting the business environment.
