Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Kingdom, has launched a specialized training program titled 'Emergency and Crisis Management'. This initiative is part of IMCTC's military training efforts aimed at enhancing readiness and improving officers' efficiency in managing crises and exceptional circumstances.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the 19-day program is hosted by the Civil Defense Institute in Riyadh and includes participation from 24 officers representing 11 IMCTC member states. The program is designed to develop both theoretical and practical skills in emergency and disaster management among its participants.
The training aims to equip trainees with the necessary scientific knowledge and technical skills for effective emergency planning. It covers the preparation and implementation of response plans, post-crisis management, and coordination among relevant agencies, with the broader goal of strengthening collective military preparedness and response capabilities.
