This move is part of the authority's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority emphasized that these routes have been strategically distributed to ease movement and reduce the challenges that these groups may encounter when entering and exiting or moving between the different levels of the Grand Mosque. The allocation of these routes is part of an integrated system of services tailored to meet the needs of the elderly and persons with disabilities, ensuring smooth access to various facilities. Additionally, the authority urged all visitors and Umrah performers to utilize the spatial guidance guide available at the Grand Mosque. This guide provides information on the locations of routes, elevators, and supporting services, assisting worshippers and Umrah performers in navigating with ease and convenience, particularly during peak times.
