Boulevard city: Fight Week activities for the 'Ring V: Night of the Samurai' championship began today at the Global Theater in Boulevard City as part of Riyadh Season 2025, marking the start of the accompanying week for the highly anticipated global boxing night, with the participation of a select group of world boxing stars.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event saw the arrival of a host of international boxers on the red carpet, led by Reito Tsutsumi, Leobardo Quintana, Taiga Imanaga, Eridson Garcia, Willibaldo Garcia, Kenshiro Teraji, Junto Nakatani, and Sebastian Hernandez, culminating with Alan Picasso and Japanese star Naoya Inoue, amid wide media attendance and strong public interaction.
The 'Grand Arrivals' event comes as a prelude to the major bout 'Ring V: Night of the Samurai,' which will bring together Inoue and Mexico's Picasso. The fight is scheduled to take place on Saturday at Mohammed Abdo Arena by Emirates NBD in Boulevard City.
General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman and Saudi Boxing Federation president Turki Alalshikh announced the launch of ticket sales for the bout, stressing that the event has generated significant global momentum, particularly following the recent news conference held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, which was attended by elite boxing stars and drew wide media attention from boxing fans worldwide.
The event will be broadcast globally via the DAZN platform and exclusively within Japan through Lemino. The boxing night continues to reinforce the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's position as a global destination for boxing and major events, within a series of high-quality activities hosted by Riyadh Season, underscoring its role in attracting top stars and delivering world-class entertainment experiences.
