Makkah: The Global Village in Makkah offers a rich tourism and cultural experience, celebrating the diversity of Arab and Islamic civilizations, showcasing traditional heritage in a family-friendly and entertaining atmosphere, and playing a key role in revitalizing tourism and strengthening the region's cultural identity.

According to Saudi Press Agency, held as part of the Makkah winter season, the village features a collection of Arab and international pavilions representing various countries, offering visitors an immersive experience of traditional crafts and industries, including artwork, ceramics, and heritage products, alongside local cuisine. Visitors can explore the customs and traditions of different cultures, all in one vibrant location.

Families working in the cottage industry also have a prominent presence in the village, displaying heritage-inspired products. This initiative supports the local economy, empowers entrepreneurs and small business owners, and promotes the principles of sustainable community tourism.

The Saudi pavilion is a central highlight, presenting a wide array of heritage products and traditional clothing from across the Kingdom, reflecting the richness and diversity of Saudi culture. The village aligns with the Kingdom's broader efforts to revitalize domestic tourism, enhance the visitor experience, and create a cultural and recreational environment that blends education with enjoyment.

The Makkah winter season is expected to attract more than 800,000 visitors through programs and activities running until the end of April 2026. It will enhance the sustainability of events year-round and reinforce Makkah's position as a premier destination for cultural and tourism experiences.
