Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Meets Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs in Port Sudan

Port sudan: Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan received Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji and his accompanying delegation today in Port Sudan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Elkhereiji began the meeting by conveying the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. They extended their best wishes for security and stability to Sudan and its people.

In response, Chairman Al-Burhan requested that his greetings and appreciation be conveyed to King Salman and the Crown Prince, expressing his hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting addressed efforts to achieve peace in Sudan, focusing on ensuring its security, stability, and the preservation of its unity and legitimate institutions. Developments in Sudan and related efforts were also discussed, with the Vice Minister reiterating the Kingdom's commitment to restoring security and stability in Sudan and preserving its territorial integrity, aligning with the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
