Jeddah: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji met with Md. Touhid Hossain, the Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, during the extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states. This meeting took place in Jeddah and was focused on addressing the situation in Somalia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions between the two ministers centered around the bilateral relations between their respective countries. They also exchanged views on various regional and international issues that are of mutual interest.
