Rafha: Teucrium oliverianum has reappeared across the deserts of Rafha in the Northern Borders Region, signaling a significant recovery of local vegetation. A member of the mint family (Lamiaceae), this evergreen wild plant reaches heights of 70 centimeters and is distinguished by its vibrant blue-violet flowers, which have transformed the desert landscape.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the resurgence of this plant indicates improved soil health and ecosystem stability in the region. By naturally regenerating, the plant helps mitigate environmental degradation and desertification, reflecting a successful restoration of the desert's ecological balance and natural beauty.
