Amman: The official spokesman for the Jordanian Armed Forces stated that air defense systems intercepted and shot down five Iranian missiles targeting Jordanian territory early Wednesday morning.

According to Saudi Press Agency, he confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces will continue to protect the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's airspace and maintain its security and sovereignty, affirming that any threat to national security or citizen safety will not be tolerated.
