Moderate to Heavy Rain Forecasted in Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh:Several regions in Saudi Arabia are expected to experience moderate to heavy rain and hail on Monday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has advised that the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah may see these weather conditions, accompanied by gusty, dust-stirring winds. Additionally, light to moderate rain is forecasted for parts of Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, Northern Borders, and Najran regions.

Fog formation is anticipated along the coastal areas of the Eastern and Makkah regions.

Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 25-45 km/h, and southwesterly to northwesterly at 10-50 km/h. Wave heights may vary from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in conditions ranging from calm to choppy seas.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are predicted to blow from a southwesterly to northwesterly direction at speeds of 10-30 km/h, with wave heights between half a meter and one meter, maintaining a calm sea state.
