Riyadh: Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade (GAFT) Majid Al-Kassabi issued a decision to impose definitive anti-dumping measures on the imports of cast iron pipes and hollow tubes (ductile iron pipes) with diameters from 100 mm to 1000 mm and technical specifications K9 and C Class to C40. These products are used in water networks, rainwater drainage, sewage networks, irrigation networks, and fire-fighting networks and originate from or are exported from the Republic of India.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the decision to impose definitive measures is published in the official gazette on August 3, 2026. The anti-dumping definitive measures will be applied to the imports of the subject product for five years starting from August 4, 2026. The decision directs the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority to impose and collect anti-dumping measures on the subject product in the range from 16.96% to 29.94%, as detailed in a table included in the decision.

The decision to impose anti-dumping measures was issued according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade, which aims to protect the domestic industry from unfair trade practices in the Saudi market. This decision is based on the final findings of the investigation initiated on July 23, 2025, after receiving the complaint submitted by the domestic industry, according to the Law of Trade Remedies in International Trade and its Executive Regulations.
