Weather Forecast Predicts Rain and Dust-Stirring Winds Across Several Regions

Riyadh: Moderate to heavy rain and hail are expected to impact parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions on Friday. According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted light to moderate rain for parts of Najran, Riyadh, and Madinah regions. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are anticipated in these regions as well as in parts of Eastern, Qassim, and Tabuk regions.

Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to vary significantly. In the northern part, they will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15-34 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h in the central part. In the southern part, winds will shift from southwesterly to southeasterly, ranging from 10-50 km/h. The wave height is predicted to range from half a meter to over two meters, indicating a sea state from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, wind conditions will be relatively calmer. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 15-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and 10-25 km/h in the southern part. Waves in this region are expected to reach from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in a relatively calm sea state.
