Makkah:The Makkah Chamber organized an event to celebrate World Tourism Day, focusing on empowering the business community, fostering partnerships, and supporting Makkah's tourism sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event gathered four government entities, 17 organizations from the private and non-profit sectors, and the entrepreneurship community. It also included 17 artisans, handicraft makers, and families involved in the cottage industry.

The event featured an exhibition and booths showcasing tourism-related products and projects. A workshop was held, covering cognitive and analytical design, organizational and logistical operations, and innovative approaches for developing heritage-focused experiences in Makkah.

The aim was to highlight investment opportunities in Makkah's tourism sector, raise awareness of tourism's importance to economic, social, and cultural development, and support and empower entrepreneurs.
