Riyadh:Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi has strongly condemned the Houthi militia's terrorist attack on King Khalid International Airport, which caused several casualties.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi emphasized the urgent need for international intervention to prevent future attacks on civilian airports and travelers, highlighting the violation of humanitarian principles and international conventions.

He reiterated the GCC's unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming that the Kingdom's security is integral to the region's collective security. The council fully supports all actions taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its citizens, residents, infrastructure, and territorial integrity.

Albudaiwi also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
