Manama:On behalf of Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund Prince Sultan bin Khalid bin Faisal led Saudi Arabia's delegation at the 57th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Industrial Cooperation Committee in Manama, Bahrain.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting included the launch of the Gulf center for the fourth industrial revolution and its digital platform. This initiative aims to enhance the digital maturity of Gulf factories and support industrial transformation.
The committee discussed several issues of mutual interest among GCC countries in the industrial sector. These discussions are intended to support pathways for Gulf industrial integration and strengthen the interconnectedness of supply chains. Additionally, the meeting approved the GCC General Secretariat's participation in the eighth China-Arab States Expo, which is scheduled for August 2027.
