Madrid:Mahd Sports Academy has secured an official license from the Royal Madrid Football Federation to compete in the Madrid regional first division league during the 2026-2027 season. The squad will comprise 24 Saudi players born in 2012 from the academy's premier talent pool.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the academy's strategy to establish sustainable developmental pathways for emerging athletes. By participating in regular, official fixtures against established Spanish clubs, the players will gain valuable international exposure and accelerate their technical, tactical, and physical development.
