Under Patronage of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Riyadh Economic Forum to Hold 10th Session in November

Riyadh– Under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the 10th version of the Riyadh Economic Forum is scheduled to be held between November 14 and 16, 2022 with the participation of several government officials, academia, economic experts and businesspeople.

Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber Ajlan Al-Ajlan extended gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his patronage to the forum, stressing that this patronage represents the biggest support to the forum and stakeholders and constitutes an incentive for the forum to continue its research and scientific efforts in a bid to enhance development efforts and the economic renaissance as part of the targets of the Saudi Vision 2030.

He also noted that this generous patronage enhances the role of the forum as a strategic, economic and ideological center that contributes to diagnosing the main economic and development issues of the national economy with the aim of increasing its efficiency in facing global and regional economic challenges and enhancing the effective partnership between the public and private sectors through providing proper initiatives, recommendations and solutions.

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the forum Dr. Khalid Al-Rajihi extended gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his generous patronage to the forum, stressing that this patronage stems from his keenness to support the private sector and activate its role in serving the national economy and realizing sustainable development.

The 10th session of the forum will address four studies: a study on the aspects and challenges of the new work field; a study on the importance of unifying and harmony among sectors in legislations related to issuing fees, taxes, zakat and unifying issuance reference; a study on connecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s region with a railway and its influence on the prosperity of the tourism and logistic services sectors; and a study in new investments, digital transformation and knowledge economy.
