Special Envoy of OIC’s Secretary-General for Africa Visits Nigeria

Jeddah– The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Zubairu Dada, received yesterday in Abuja, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Africa, Nassirou Bako Arifari, as part of a mission he is undertaking in the sub-region of West Africa.

During the reception, the Special Envoy delivered a written message from the Secretary-General of the OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, to President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between OIC and Nigeria, the latest developments in the West African sub-region, and a number of issues of common interest.
