The Housing and Urban Planning Ministry has held a series of meetings with a delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) to discuss the progress of the implementation of a number of housing projects funded by the GCC Development Programme.
Undersecretary of the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, Assim Abdullatif Abdulla, and Director-General of Arab Countries Operations Department at SFD, Bandar Al-Obaid, and officials from both sides attended.
The undersecretary welcomed the SFD delegation, commending their efforts to support the housing projects that are implemented under the umbrella of the GCC Development Programme.
Then, the progress rate of the housing projects in terms of construction and infrastructure was reviewed.
The Housing and Urban Planning Ministry representatives and the SFD delegation toured a number of housing projects.
Members of the SFD delegation expressed delight at their cooperation with the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry and the relevant government entities, reflecting the depth of the long-standing relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
