The political advisor to the Prime Minister, Sabhan Mulla Chiyad, congratulated the journalists on the 154th anniversary of the Iraqi National Press Day.
In his congratulation, Mullah Chiyad said: “We extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to the press family on the occasion of the Iraqi National Press Day,” appreciating the efforts of Iraqi journalists in conveying the country’s image impartially and professionally despite all the challenges and difficulties they faced.
He affirmed the government’s seriousness in supporting freedom of the press and the rights of journalists, praising the cooperation of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in this aspect.
